Now: nyt

This morning: tänä aamuna

Yesterday: eilen

Today: tänään

Tomorrow: huomenna

Next week: ensi viikolla

Already: jo

Recently: äskettäin

Lately: viime aikoina

| Immediately: heti, välittömästi |
| Still: edelleen, yhä |
| Yet: vielä |
After the above adverbs of time, now we move on to adverbs of place.

| Everywhere: kaikkialla |
| Anywhere: missä vain |
Now adverbs of manners, used to describe how something happens. They are usually placed after the main verb.
Carefully: huolellisesti

Alone: yksin
|
Very: hyvin
|
Really: todella
|
| Quickly: nopeasti |
| Slowly: hitaasti |
| Almost: melkein |
| Together: yhdessä |
These are adverbs of frequency, which are used to answer the question "how often?".
| Always: aina |
| Sometimes: joskus |
| Rarely: harvoin |
| Never: ei koskaan |
