Japanese Articles

Here are examples of the articles in Japanese. This includes the use of (a, the, many, and some). As well as demonstrative adjectives (this, that ...).

The yellow pen is easy to find: その黄色のペンは見つけやすい
Sono kiiro no pen wa mitsuke yasui.
 A yellow pen is easy to find: 黄色のペンは見つけやすい。
Kiiro no pen wa mitsuke yasui.
A French teacher is here: フランス人の先生が一人ここにいます。
Furansu jin no sensei ga hitori koko ni imasu.
 The French teacher is here: そのフランス人の先生がここにいます。
Sono Furansu jin no sensei ga kokoni imasu.
Some languages are hard: いくらかの言語は難しい
Ikura ka no gengo wa mutsukasii.
 Many languages are easy: 多くの言語は簡単です
Ookuno genngo wa kantan desu.
The student speaks Korean: その学生は紺国語を話します。
Sono gakusei wa Kankoku go wo hanasi masu.
 A student speaks Korean: 学生は韓国語を話します。
Gakusei ha Kankoku go wo hanashi masu.
Some students speak Korean: いくらかの学生は韓国を話します。

 That student speaks Korean: あの学生は韓国語を話します。

These students speak Korean: これらの学生は韓国語を話します。
Korera no gakusei wa Kankoku go wo hanasi masu.
 Those students speak Korean: あれらの学生は韓国語を話します。
